Groysman instructed the police to punish cafes and restaurants for broadcasting Russian TV
Police and officials will check public places, cafes and restaurants for rebroadcasts of Russian television programs, the distribution of which is prohibited in Ukraine.

This instruction was given by Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman, reports the press service of the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting.
The instruction concerns the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Chairman of the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting, the Minister of Information Policy and heads of regional administrations.
“They must take the necessary response measures to check places of mass recreation and crowds of people regarding the cessation of retransmission of Russian television programs, the distribution of which is limited on the territory of Ukraine. The Cabinet of Ministers and the Presidential Administration will be informed about the measures taken,” the statement says.
As of November 1, broadcasts of 76 Russian TV channels were banned in Ukraine.
