Groysman advised residents of the LDPR to go to Ukraine for their pensions
Payments of pensions to residents of areas of Donbass not controlled by the Kyiv government can only be made on territory controlled by Ukraine, and no other way. Those pensioners who live in the LDPR and cannot travel to Ukraine should forget about their pensions.

This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman during a meeting with residents of Mariupol during a working trip to Donbass, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“All people who have actually earned their pension receive accruals. The main problem is only to verify these people in the territory not controlled by Ukraine,” Groysman said.
The Prime Minister explained that this procedure should be carried out in order to understand who exactly the state should pay, how to pay and in what way.
“Payments are not blocked, but they can only be made on our territory, on territory controlled by Ukraine. After all, only here can you verify a person and make sure that he has received his pension,” he emphasized.
Groysman admits that at the moment the system for paying pensions to residents of Donbass is not perfect and requires improvements:
“There really is a deep systemic problem with this. These people are not to blame for being temporarily occupied, and I understand that very well. But how to deliver money there, how to make payments there so that it is safe, there is no such mechanism today. We constantly think about this, but, unfortunately, the solution to these issues does not depend on our will,” he concluded.
