Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman stated this during today's press conference in Kyiv.
“It is very important for Ukraine to become an economically independent state; we cannot live constantly on the technical assistance tranche,” he said.
At the same time, Groysman noted that the total volume of loan funds expected from the International Monetary Fund in 2016 under the EFF extended financing program will amount to $1,7 billion.
“The total tranche for 2016 should be $1,7 billion,” the prime minister said.
