“I am deeply convinced – experts also say this – that we can very efficiently and quickly increase the participation of tourism, such a huge sphere, in the development of our economy,” the prime minister said during the Kiev Investment Forum 2017 on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister noted that investments attracted to the country should also go to the development of tourism.
According to Groysman, in many countries the share of tourism accounts for about 10% of GDP.
He added that many of the levers for stimulating investment in tourism are in the hands of local authorities.
