Groysman publicly humiliated Zelensky
Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman considers it necessary to allocate money for a military parade dedicated to Independence Day, which is celebrated on August 24.
Groysman stated this today at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The Prime Minister considered that the country had enough money to hold the parade.
“I think a parade is needed, and it should become a parade of the dignity and valor of our troops, an expression of respect for the military. I instruct the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Defense to calculate the costs of holding the parade - not through raising social standards, but through other sources. At the same time, the proposal of the President of Ukraine to allocate 300 million UAH to improve standards for soldiers is also correct. And I support him,” said Groysman.
Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky announced that he had decided to cancel the military parade and distribute the saved money in the form of bonuses to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
