The total volume of Liechtenstein's investments in the Ukrainian economy as of the beginning of the year amounted to $49,3 million, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman announced this during a meeting with Crown Prince of Liechtenstein Alois, the Uryadovy Portal reports.

It is noted that the key areas of investment are industry and construction. Infrastructure and energy are also areas of interest for Liechtenstein business.

“We invite Liechtenstein businesses to become more active in the Ukrainian market, which is rapidly developing and offers opportunities. I am confident that we have the potential to expand cooperation,” said Vladimir Groysman.

He also added that in the first quarter of this year, trade turnover between the countries increased fourfold.
