Groysman decided to build a Silicon Valley in Ukraine
The government of Ukraine, under the leadership of Vladimir Groysman, plans to make an innovative breakthrough in the summer.

Groysman stated this in an interview with the Kyiv magazine “Focus”, answering the question of when Ukraine will have its own Silicon Valley.
“I want the legislative framework to appear before July 15. We will present in the Rada the initiative to formulate new legislation on technological batches. I see a great future in this and want to change the country innovatively. But first you need to create certain conditions. Moreover, when we look at the traditional economy, we see that the digital economy is penetrating it. In this regard, those who take the lead in this process will have great success. Innovative solutions in traditional areas lead to increased productivity and completely different economic indicators,” said Groysman.
At the same time, he added that Ukraine has every opportunity to create an innovative economy, but admitted that for now we have to work as an “outsource for other countries, when our young people with good education sit in Ukraine and work for others.”
Groysman was also asked whether he considers President Poroshenko an oligarch.
“The President is the President for me, as he is for all of us,” he said.
As PolitNavigator reported, Ukraine decided to voluntarily refuse from ten percent of GDP.
