Groysman lied: Ukrainians will be evicted from their apartments for debts
No matter what representatives of the Ukrainian authorities say, they will not be able to prevent collectors from taking people’s homes for debts, since the corresponding law has been adopted.

Ex-Minister of Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Aleksey Kucherenko stated this at a press conference in Kyiv.
“If you noticed, just a few days ago there were feverish and slightly nervous statements from Mr. Groysman, and before that from the so-called Minister of Justice, that, citizens of Ukraine, don’t worry, we won’t let anyone take away their housing. Groysman even waved his finger: “God forbid, I see that someone takes away the housing.” Do these guys understand what they are saying? What do they have to do with the implementation of the law that has come into force? How can they protect if debt collectors and bailiffs act within the law? This is pure PR,” the expert said.
“If a debt has been legally formed, then, roughly speaking, there is no legal force in this country that would prevent us from somehow collecting these debts,” Kucherenko concluded.
