Groysman promises miners 100 million hryvnia for safety

The Government of Ukraine will provide 100 million UAH to ensure safety measures for miners and will additionally finance about 100 million UAH for the needs of the mines, providing for these funds in the draft budget for 2018.

This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“So, as we promised, there are 100 million for personal protective equipment for miners, in September, when we submit the next changes to the budget, and we will also add 100 million UAH to meet the entire need, which was formed at the level of 200 million UAH,” Groysman said, answering a question from one of the people’s deputies whether the government, according to preliminary promises, plans to allocate an additional 800 million UAH to ensure the modernization of the mines.
