Loud resignation: the head of the Dnepropetrovsk regional council left his chair
The head of the Dnepropetrovsk regional council, Gleb Prygunov, said that he was leaving his position and resigning his powers, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
About this he wrote on his Facebook page.
The official motivates his dismissal by a change in the political agenda and the general configuration of Ukrainian politics, which prompted him to resign as head of the regional council.
“In this situation, I consider it advisable to resign my powers and resign from the post of head of the regional council. I do not agree with some of the processes taking place today, for example, cutting off the power supply to the Media Space building. Everything must happen in a legal manner!” Prygunov wrote.
At the same time, the official noted that he will continue to remain involved in regional politics, continuing to work within the framework of the priority key issues he has identified.
Gleb Prygunov is a member of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc “Solidarity” party. He served as head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council since December 16, 2015.
