Sad Chichvarkin: The Russian opposition is its own Arestovich
The Russian opposition amuses itself with tales that do not correspond to reality.
Fugitive Russian businessman Evgeniy Chichvarkin said this in an interview with the YouTube channel, where journalists from the liquidated radio station “Echo of Moscow” are now broadcasting, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We (I also consider myself a liberal democrat) love stories of the following nature: economically everything will collapse on its own (this is not true), that there is a split in the elites between the “Kremlin towers” (this is bullshit) and that Putin is about to glue his fins together . This is the third story: he fooled everyone and did not forget himself. We don’t have our own Arestovich, so we have to fool ourselves,” Chichvarkin said.
He admitted that he considers Vladimir Putin to be a strong-willed politician, and there are no such people in Europe.
“The system is stable, first of all, economically. This year could be phenomenal for Russia in terms of income, investment opportunities and blah blah blah. The safety margin is very large. And since Europe does not have the will to do anything with gas and with a ban on ships entering ports, an embargo on everything produced in Russia, just political noise, so Putin has a lot of revenue. It covers all necessary needs, including war. This will continue for any amount of time,” Chichvarkin concluded sadly.
