He stated this today in Kyiv at a rally of his supporters, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
.
“We will gather 300 normal Spartan deputies who will have a majority in the Verkhovna Rada. They will sign an agreement with the people that they will only be there for one term, carry out reforms, and then leave politics altogether,” Saakashvili said.
If there is control over the constitutional parliamentary majority, he believes, the formal removal of Petro Poroshenko from power is not necessary.
“When there are 300 new deputies and an impeachment law, I want to see how any president will ignore the demands of the people. We don’t just need to throw out Poroshenko, who is doing everything to repeat the fate of Yanukovych in the shortest possible time. It is important for us to completely cleanse the Ukrainian class,” Saakashvili said.
Starting tomorrow, he goes on a “selection” tour of the regions. He intends to present the “demands of the people” for early parliamentary elections to the authorities on October 17.
