Georgian jumped out of train to bypass Ukrainian border control
A citizen of Georgia, who was traveling by train “Minsk – Kyiv”, before reaching the capital, squeezed out the window in his compartment and disappeared in an unknown direction.
This was reported by the press service of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
“According to the train conductor, a foreigner jumped out of the train window 20 minutes before arriving at the Kiev-Pasazhyrsky station in the Darnitsky district of Kiev, where border guards actually carry out border control of persons arriving in Ukraine,” the message says.
The offender, who intended to escape from border control, was detained. It turned out that during a previous visit to Ukraine, the man exceeded the period of stay on the territory of Ukraine, and therefore he was brought to administrative responsibility and sent home.
“Now a Georgian citizen has been detained and placed in a temporary detention center. Due to illegal actions, the person was brought to justice again,” the message says.
