“The end of last week turned out to be scandalous for the Ukrainian army group stationed in Mariupol. All instructors, including Georgian ones, located in the front-line city announced that starting Monday they would not perform their duties until they were paid according to their contract.
The Ministry of Defense of the former Ukraine did not pay the money promised to military specialists for June, and July is already coming to an end.
The local military command was alarmed and urgently contacted Kiev. As a result, part of the debt was paid to instructors on Monday, July 24. But the instructors and mercenaries announced that they wanted to receive advance payment for their “works,” the reporter details.
