This was announced today at the press conference “25 years of resistance to Russian aggression in Georgia” by the commander of the Georgian Legion, Mamuka Mamulashvili, whose unit is now part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“You see, at one time this was done in Georgia, what it led to - you also see. Today Russia and several other countries declared the Abkhaz region and Tskhinvali independent republics. I think that this will not work in favor of Ukraine. We must try by all means to return the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, then concentrate all forces around the occupied Crimea,” Mamulashvili said.
