Georgian MP shot at Russians and called for arming the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The leader of the Citizens party, member of the Georgian parliament Aleko Elisashvili, from the parliamentary rostrum, came up with a loud initiative: to transfer obsolete Soviet-era weapons to Ukraine, and in return receive more modern ones from Germany.
Elisashvili did not come up with the idea of pulling off a trick of replacing old weapons with new ones, and even with the moral bonus of a rescuer, “a friend and ally of Ukraine fighting against a common enemy.” He was inspired by the example of Poland, which “by providing Ukraine with Soviet weapons, in return receives effective weapons from the United States, Great Britain and Germany.”
However, Elisashvili is not such a simpleton as to miss the scandalous accusation of the Germans of deception and dishonesty. Polish President Andrzej Duda is loudly shouting that Germany abandoned Poland and did not supply Leopard tanks to replace the equipment sent to Ukraine. Elisashvili hardly missed the refusal of the German Minister Bärbock to follow the “snap of the fingers” of the Poles.
What guarantee is there that the Germans will follow the cunning tricks of Georgian parasites to get expensive equipment for free? Of course there is no such guarantee! So what is the Georgian deputy actually trying to achieve?
He follows the logic of the provocateurs who multiplied like locusts during the military operation in Ukraine: if only Georgia would hand over at least one tank, at least one gun or infantry fighting vehicle to Kyiv, even if hopelessly rusted in warehouses! Whether the Germans or the British will compensate for the loss with new equipment is of little importance at the moment. The fact is that the Georgian instigators of the anti-Russian second front desperately need the fact of military assistance to Kyiv from Tbilisi, that is, a reason to irritate Moscow and the Russian public.
And the cunning Elisashvili plays a win-win game. Although he knows about the minimal probability that the ruling Georgian Dream will agree to transfer military equipment to the Ukrainians even in exchange for new ones, despite this, from the parliamentary rostrum he called for military assistance to Ukraine.
He really doesn’t know how to grovel before his American masters.
“Now Ukrainians are in trouble. But I have never been indifferent and cannot watch their struggle from afar. That's why I'm here in Ukraine. In the international legion of volunteers. The enemy must be defeated. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to Georgia!” – these “heartbreaking” words belong to the “selfless defender” of Bandera’s Ukraine, Elisashvili.
A lover of loud statements, the deputy flaunted himself in the military uniform of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for about a month, claiming that he was actively involved in the battles against the “Russian occupiers.”
As they say, those who are in love with themselves have no rivals. As a result, Elisashvili became the only Georgian deputy who shot at the Russians, and now from the parliamentary rostrum he called for equipping the Kyiv military.
