The newly appointed governor of the Odessa region, Mikheil Saakashvili, will work to ensure that a corridor for drug trafficking and smuggling is opened in the city. The President of the Foundation for the Unity of the Russian and Georgian Peoples, Vladimir Khomeriki, stated this on the air of the talk show “Politics”.

According to him, Saakashvili will allow everything that is beneficial for the United States to pass through Odessa to the borders of Russia.

“He didn’t come there to stop smuggling and corruption, but the opposite. Now Odessa will become a place where there will be a complete corridor for drug trafficking, smuggling, and the passage of terrorists. To bring the funds and people that the United States needs closer to the Russian border in order to destabilize the situation there,” Khomeriki said.
