The Georgian leadership of the Ukrainian police will take revenge on the Abkhazians and Ossetians by fining drivers for the license plates of these countries
The presence of license plates from South Ossetia and Abkhazia on vehicles is equivalent to the absence of license plates. Under such circumstances, the Ukrainian police will act in accordance with the law.

This is stated in a message on the official page of the Patrol Police on Facebook.
As reported on the official page, “we recently asked for help from the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry because we needed a competent legal assessment of the international legal status of the territory of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted, Ukraine did not recognize the so-called “republics” as independent or components of other states except Georgia.”
“Thus, the presence on vehicles of license plates of these or other similar unrecognized state entities is equivalent to the absence of license plates. In such circumstances, the police will act in accordance with the law,” the statement said.
In addition, the patrol police expressed gratitude for the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, in particular the Ambassador at Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba, since the departments “jointly investigated and solved the problem in a time and in a way that would have seemed fantastic for the old system.”
Let us remind you that Georgian Khatia Dekanoidze was appointed head of the National Police of Ukraine. And her deputy, Alexander Fatsevich, became the head of the patrol police.
