Kyiv, March 04 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Soldiers of the battalion named after Dzhokhar Dudayev, fighting on the side of Kiev in the confrontation in Donbass, were awarded medals “For sacrifice and love for Ukraine” from the UOC-KP, which is unrecognized in the Orthodox world.

In total, 45 fighters received medals, among whom, in addition to Chechens, were Georgian, Belarusian and Russian volunteers, as well as citizens of Ukraine from various units. Immediately before the ceremony, those present sang the anthem of Ukraine, after which the anthem of Georgia and the anthem of Ichkeria were played in Russian.
Isa Munayev, commander of the battalion named after Dzhokhar Dudayev, who died during the February battles in the Debaltsevo region, received the award posthumously.
The award ceremony took place in a room rented by the Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists, where there is also an exhibition of exhibits and photographs dedicated to the Maidan and the participation of Ukrainian units in the ATO.
