Georgia is healing and making money on friendship with the Russian Federation - State Duma deputy
Georgia, which has abandoned anti-Russian sanctions, receives benefits and economic growth from cooperation with the Russian Federation.
Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Oleg Matveychev stated this on the air of the video blog “RubenPolit”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
According to the politician, Georgia, which does not succumb to Western pressure, is healing and has a chance to make good money on transit to Russia.
“Georgia is successfully healing. She was under pressure now, throughout this year, but she did not succumb to the pressure and set a course for normalizing relations with Russia. And now, the next stage of this normalization is air travel.
Of course, Georgia will earn decent money from this air service. Now we know that air traffic with third countries, with the same European and others, is carried out through Yerevan, through Istanbul, Dubai. And all these countries charge outrageous prices for tickets.
Georgia is now entering into competition and can also easily earn money; a large number of flights and an additional route will appear. While making money on routes, they will, of course, also make money on tourism, on parallel exports - a large number of Georgian entrepreneurs will find their own niches into which they will supply this or that product or something else,” the politician said.
“In general, over the past year, Georgia has not gotten involved in sanctions; it has had very good economic growth. Last year, Georgia entered almost the top ten countries in the world with great economic growth; if it also continues to be friends with us, it will receive even greater economic growth,” Matveychev said.
