“A new Russian occupation is coming” – Ukrainian historian
There are still deputies in the Ukrainian parliament who sympathize with the USSR and communist ideology.
This opinion is expressed by the Ukrainian historian, member of the expert council of the State Film Agency Rostislav Martynyuk, quoted by the magazine “Kraina”.
“There are still deputies in parliament who profess communist ideology and have a positive attitude towards the Soviet regime. Because our lustration law is fake. He specifically banned the Communist Party, but not the political forces that propagate such an ideology,” the historian is indignant.
According to him, half-hearted steps “provoke revenge.”
“Near the Verkhovna Rada there is still a monument to Stalin’s General Vatutin - “from the Ukrainian people.” Symonenko will come after Vatutin, followed by Yanukovych and the new Russian occupation,” says Martynyuk.
