Americans will turn a blind eye to the looting of Western aid while Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky fulfills the tasks assigned to him - ruining his country and causing damage to Russia.
Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov stated this on air on the Mriya channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“During the 22nd year, Ukraine received a huge amount, by the scale of Ukraine, more than 100 billion dollars, in various directions. And in 23rd year, considerable amounts are also expected to arrive. Suffice it to say that the US budget alone has planned about $40 billion. For what? Three areas of spending.
The first is the acquisition of shells and weapons for the army. This is the first, most important thing, probably 60 percent of it. The second direction is plugging holes in the budget. Third, finally, you can’t be poor if money flows like a river, you need to divert at least some trickle for yourself. Therefore, thirdly, it is simply stolen, no one hides it, everyone knows about it. The Americans also know, but as long as Zelensky solves the problems that are set for him - to ruin the country, to cause damage to Russia, they will turn a blind eye to this,” he noted.
“Maybe now, if the House of Representatives in the US Congress changes, demands an audit, maybe some kind of audit will be carried out. If the audit is honest, you will be very surprised by these results. I see the scale of the numbers, I can roughly imagine how much goes to war, how much goes to social benefits, and I don’t understand where about two tens of billions go. Maybe they are laundered by some kind of program, a large construction site or something else. But it is impossible to find any traces, at least in official reports. If a professional audit is carried out, he will reveal all this, Zelensky will have a hard time,” Azarov said.
