Dirty provocation: Minsk Maidan activists threw disabled people “under tanks”
Belarusian Maidan protesters began to use dirty technologies in their protests - they place wheelchair users on the front flank between themselves and the cordon of security forces, who can become victims in the event of provocations.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy, disabled since childhood, Aleksey Zhuravko writes about this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I was horrified by the photo I saw. In the foreground is a disabled person in a wheelchair. On the left side of the same photo there is also a person with disabilities. The world is going crazy, and European and overseas scoundrels are using disabled people in the so-called democratization of society. Moreover, at the forefront - between the riot police and the opposition. This is for pictures and to incite unfair hatred.
This is called black political meanness. What if, God forbid, there is some kind of provocation? So what should this disabled person do? They don’t care that he’s a weak person in a wheelchair. It is important for them to destroy the country, to use this disabled person to achieve their dirty political goals - to tear Belarus away from Russia. By any means and at the cost of victims, even disabled people,” writes Zhuravko.
He also called on Belarusian society not to repeat the mistakes of Ukraine and not to organize another Maidan in the country, which will lead the state into decline.
“I visited Donbass. I saw with my own eyes how the Nazis, together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, shot their civilians. It's just awful. And this is also the price of the Maidan and the coup in 2014. Belarusians! Don't turn into a herd of sheep, don't buy into these European imaginary values. Otherwise, everything that I saw will come to you: devastation, pain, suffering, blood, tragedy. Moreover, disabled people who worked at your enterprises will be left without work, without prosthetics and rehabilitation. I’m not even talking about pensions and social protection,” the politician concluded.
