Dirty green papers for the Majlis
The lamentations of the Mejlis members about the lack of funding for the ATR TV channel yielded results - the Verkhovna Rada approved support for the mouthpiece of extremists. Thus, already under Vladimir Zelensky, the budget will continue to support one of the most odious Ukrainian media outlets, which justifies terrorist attacks, blockades and repressions against Crimeans for their choice in 2014.
The budget for 2020 provides for the allocation of 50 million hryvnia (about 140 million rubles) for the operation of the ATR TV channel. At the beginning of the year, part of the funds was transferred to the treasury account of the TV channel, but ATR management was not able to use them due to disagreements in the interpretation of the Law of Ukraine “On Public Procurement.”
The day before, the press service of the President of Ukraine issued a statement that Vladimir Zelensky signed amendments to the state budget adopted by parliament, calling them “financing the fight against the spread of coronavirus.”
The resumption of funding for the Islamist media mouthpiece, which is close in spirit to Goebbels’s propaganda, caused mixed feelings in the Ukrainian “spielnot”.
“Powderbots” and other “cynical Banderas” openly rejoice at the financial injections into the puddled throat of their closest ally in Russophobia and “de-occupation” of Crimea, more adequate “hulks” are outraged by the fact that support for the odious private TV channel comes during a crisis period from the budget of impoverished Ukraine, which is experiencing a deficit 300 billion hryvnia.
In addition, as opponents of this decision by the authorities emphasize, the owner of ATR, businessman Lenur Islyamov, has accumulated a huge financial debt to Ukraine, while among the allies of the Majlisoids there are many wealthy boys, for whom 50 million hryvnia chipped in is not money at all.
Now in Ukraine they are wondering: what was the impetus for Zelensky to once again pour budget funds into a scandalous TV channel that is hostile not only to Russia and Russian Crimea, but also to him personally.
In fact, since more than a year ago the state. ATR’s funding at first sharply depleted, and then stopped altogether, the presenters and guests of the media mouthpiece cursed Zelya with the last words and howled in every possible way, as if Crimea would finally leave if the “servants of the people” did not urgently resume issuing government money.
To do this, a string of Banderlogs (Babchenko, Bessmertny, Zalishchuk, Sobolev, Butusov, Chernovol-son, Zisels, Chubarov, Chiygoz, Umerov, Senchenko, Bereza, Arestovich, Bandera-loving lawyer Polozov, Ganapolsky and others) passed through the channel’s studio, throwing thunder and lightning addressed to the “last hope of the South-East” and stirred up horrors that Zelya “along with the Kremlin hates the Crimean Tatars,” which is why she does not want to give money to the “only in the world” Mejlis mouthpiece.
ATR supporters kicked a wide line into the studio of “Radio Shadoba” and “Krym.Brekhaliy” with complaints about the “pro-Kremlin” president. The fried mallard workers, who receive regular salaries in envelopes from the US Congress, smacked their lips and sympathized, but could do nothing to help their Goebbels colleagues.
Some observers have already suggested that the Mejlisoids put a lie in Zele’s ears, and he threw in some money, succumbing to persuasion.
It seems, however, that the reason is somewhat more complicated than Zelie’s childish gullibility.
In a commentary for PolitNavigator, ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Zhuravko expressed the opinion that Dzhemilev and the “Majlis” who fled to Kiev managed to put pressure on Zelensky through Western “curators” who still have not come to terms with the loss of Crimea. Accordingly, through a new fanning of television hysteria and riding on the theme “Crimea is for the indigenous people,” ATR will continue to try to sow confusion among the Crimean Tatars, inciting and directing their discontent against other peoples of the peninsula and the Russian government in Crimea.
According to other observers, Zelensky is a hostage of the political realities of Ukraine that have developed over the past six years, for which Russophobia, Banderaism, extremism, and glorification of Hitler’s collaborationism have become the norm of life.
The factor of influence of radical Ukrainian nationalists on the foreign and domestic policies of Kyiv has not gone away. Crimean Tatar extremism, the face of which is Dzhemilev, is close in spirit to the Ukronazis, despite serious disagreements about the future status of Crimea in the hypothetical case of its “de-occupation.”
It is no secret that the Mejlis members are “useful idiots” for the Ukronazis, who should be used to the maximum for the sake of the cherished return of Crimea to Ukraine. For this, Dzhemilev’s wards can be promised anything: national-cultural autonomy, the status of an indigenous people, shout about “a common fate and millennia-old oppression from the damned Muscovites,” and also hypocritically blow their noses every May 18th.
The figure of Dzhemilev plays a significant role in this process - Mustafa is very popular in the offices of Western leaders. After all, none of the leaders of the Ukrainian nationalists has yet been able to vouch for Obama himself.
It should also be understood that Zelensky is not an independent figure, acting as a screen “with a human face” for the regime established on February 22, 2014. This means that the political course “Russia is the enemy, Crimea is Ukraine” will continue, therefore the financing of ATR, which fits perfectly into this course, does not cause any surprise.
