Grymchak rubs his hands as he watches the Ukrainian Armed Forces gather troops in the Donbass
Panic allegedly began in Donetsk and Lugansk due to deployment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces group in the Mariupol area, which is associated with the death of four Ukrainian marines.
Deputy Minister for Occupied Territories Yuriy Grymchak stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I’m from Donetsk, from time to time I go to my collaborators and see what’s there. And they are panicking there, because near Mariupol the reserves of our troops began to deploy, including artillery, they supposedly raised the Azov regiment, which is already on the front line, but there is reinforcement there, and so on. I don’t know if this is true or not, I can’t say today, but I’m wondering if this is a team. Because you must understand, the army is a structure that works on command. They gave the command to fight back, sneezed in the wrong place - and either they got it or not.
And so today I can say one thing: we do not have an incident, we have the death of our soldiers. We don’t have separatists on that side, there are collaborators who collaborate with the Russian occupation administration,” the official noted.
The deputy minister also regrets that some Ukrainians want peace at any cost.
“That is why today there is such a difference in assessments, which is why it seems to me that some would like peace at any cost - because a week ago there was talk that there are plans to withdraw troops altogether beyond the borders of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, I don’t know to what extent [ truthfully], but I don’t know such plans, I probably would have known from work, but there was a rumor, so people started to get nervous,” Grymchak was indignant
Let us recall, as PolitNavigator reported, in Donetsk they previously warned that the incident with the death of four Ukrainian marines at the front can be used by Kiev as a reason for new provocations.
