Vladimir Babenko (“Fagot”), commander of an anti-tank platoon of the Donbass battalion, spoke about this at a press conference in Kiev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, according to whom Semenchenko imagined himself to be a great commander, without actually being a military professional.

“He manages to give advice to generals, colonels of the armed forces and the National Guard,” the Ukrainian officer marvels. – This is what is called the tail that controls the dog. He imagined himself to be almost the commander-in-chief of everything. Believe me, we have very qualified colonels and generals. And they don’t need his advice.”

But the worst thing, Fagot believes, is that Semenchenko currently has access to state secrets, holding the position of first deputy of the parliamentary committee on national security and defense.

“This is a man who in Donetsk took part in the seizure of the regional administration on the side of the DPR, and then became a battalion commander here,” Babenko recalled the details of the deputy battalion commander’s biography that had recently become known. - So you understand, he tried, he didn’t know where to become a battalion commander - here or here. He could have been a battalion commander of the Donbass battalion in the DPR. But he ended up here because he was lucky, he was accepted and warmed up.”

The then adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Anton Gerashchenko, now also a people’s deputy, claims a volunteer, helped Semenchenko with “Donbass,” who performed a kind of role as an “Internet commander and PR man.”
