The bickering of the Maidan workers is growing: Chugunkin came under attack
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin, who reports to Petro Poroshenko, does a lot of PR, but takes few real steps to completely sever ties with Russia.
Such accusations were made today at the conciliation council in the Verkhovna Rada by the head of the Foreign Affairs Committee Anna Gopko, appointed under the quota of the mayor of Lvov’s party “Self-Help”, which is now in conflict with the president.
“I would like to appeal to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Committee officially applied three times to receive a copy of the note in which the Russian Federation declared Ukraine’s desire to suspend the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Partnership with Russia. I am now contacting Klimkin so that he can finally give us a copy of the note.
I also appeal to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to authorize a representative of the interdepartmental working group to consider problematic issues of applying sanctions. I also demand from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that we finally see an inventory of the legal framework with the Russian Federation.
Instead of the PR that we see from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, I finally expect concrete work from the minister,” Gopko demanded from Klimkin.
