It is possible that the battalions controlled by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, whose son was detained today in Kyiv, unite with the Saakashists who have set up a tent city near the Verkhovna Rada.

The director of the Center for Eurasian Studies, Vladimir Kornilov, did not rule out such a development of events in a comment to PolitNavigator.
“It was no coincidence that I told you about the possible escape of Avakov. A search of Avakov’s son, through whom the minister always carried out his affairs, indicates that the squabble in Kyiv is reaching its apotheosis. And I do not rule out that tomorrow we will see Avakov with the battalions under his control on the same side of the barricades with Saakashvili. This is not a forecast, but an assumption,” the political scientist said.
