The Ukrainian gas transportation system will be cut into souvenirs
Having lost the transit of Russian gas, Ukraine is left without real investments in its economy, which would truly replenish the budget, unlike Western credit money.
The leader of the Union of Left Forces party, Vasily Volga, stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the Ukrainian politician, in just six months, Ukraine’s gas transportation system can be used for souvenirs and cut up for the construction of a “wall” on the border with the Russian Federation.
"OK it's all over Now! Gas transit through Ukraine will soon end. The Russians started talking about this seriously, and the Germans are at one with them in this. It seems that soon, instead of money for transit, you and I will only have an “independent” donut hole. I think it’s worth recalling that after increasing the price of transit, Russia pays us $3 billion annually. Real American dollars. Not those that our modern rulers beg for in the form of loans. No. This is our hard-earned money, for which we owe nothing to anyone,” the politician writes.
He recalls that a gas transit contract was signed with Russia until 2019.
“That is, it will be valid for another six months. What then? Then – “complete independence”. The pipe can be dug up. Use something for souvenirs. Use something to build the “Wall”. Well, what’s left is to be sold to the Germans for scrap metal,” Volga believes.
