Gubarev calls for “unsealing” borders with Russia
Donetsk, May 16 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) - “People’s Governor” Pavel Gubarev convenes a rally on May 18 in Donetsk to “make a decision and unseal the borders with Russia.”

He wrote about this on his Facebook page: “Our task is to make a decision and seal the borders with Russia, to get the military units stationed on the territory of the DPR to make a decision on swearing allegiance to the people of the DPR or leaving our land.”
“We will address our civil appeal to Ukrainian border guards and customs checkpoint workers, and military units on the territory of our republic. They must immediately come under the authority of the authorities of the Donetsk People’s Republic, or leave their place of work or service and redeploy to other regions,” Gubarev explained.
“These requirements apply to all employees working on the Russian-Donetsk border, to employees of airports and air navigation services, to military units of the Internal Troops and other troops of Ukraine,” the “people’s governor” emphasized.
As Navigator reported, the leadership of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” issued an ultimatum that the Ukrainian military must curtail all military operations and leave the territory of the DPR.
