“Right Sector militants shot at a Ukrainian army post. Near the village of Blagodatnoye, Volnovakha district, Donetsk People’s Republic,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
“On May 22.05.2014, 5, at about XNUMX o’clock in the morning, a military post was shot. The number of killed and wounded military personnel is being clarified. Previously, military personnel were displayed there (without meaning). People from the village talked with the military in the evening and spoke of them as adequate soldiers. Information is being clarified about the shooting of a post near the city of Ugledar, Maryinsky district, DPR, where adequate military personnel were also stationed. It was as if they were specially placed to be shot (no matter how cynical it sounds). Now they will try to blame everything on the DPR army!!! I think the action was carried out by the Donbass and Azov battalions paid for by Kolomoisky (supervisor Lyashko). Information will come and I will share. The junta has crossed all boundaries,” Gubarev said.
Later he clarified: “According to the Lord. The fire was opened by mercenaries who arrived in a Privatbank minibus and three jeeps. Professionals acted and took away their dead and wounded. According to Ukrainian Army casualties – 8 killed, 25 wounded.”
As Navigator reported, the Ministry of Defense confirmed an attack on units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Volnovakha. The Southern Regional Prosecutor's Office for Supervision of Compliance with Laws in the Military Sphere stated that in connection with the incident, criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 3 of Article 258 (Terrorist act that led to the death of people) and Part 2 of Article 425 (Official negligence) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Military expert Dmitry Tymchuk criticized the new leadership of the ATO, recalling that the epicenter of the clash - Slavyansk and Kramatorsk - are far from the scene of the incident.
