Kherson, June 24 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – At the session of the Kherson City Council, at the suggestion of the chairman of the regional state administration, Yuriy Odarchenko, the issue of approving the territory that is proposed to be allocated for private development by military personnel is brought up.

According to the Typical Kherson publication, the site with a total area of about 30 hectares is adjacent to the city solid waste landfills. In addition, according to the director of the city department of urban planning and land use, Mikhail Zharov, there are two mounds here, which are architectural monuments.
Members of the City Council Commission on Transport and Trade categorically disagree with this. “We can all advise the head of the Regional State Administration that this area should not be allocated, there are other areas. Today I will be with the deputy governor and talk to him. Is this what the region does? Let the region redevelop. The governor is setting himself up. Someone advised him: “Let’s give it to the landfill,” and tomorrow it will be all over the Internet that they evicted the military to the landfill. Nobody needs this,” said deputy Viktor Gavrilyuk.
Let us remind you that the State Agency of Land Resources initiated the allocation of land plots for development and agriculture for security forces participating in military operations in eastern Ukraine.
