Since Kyiv has been preparing for war with the Russian Federation for a long time, Ukrainian intelligence has stuffed Russia with agents and caches of weapons since 2014, the consequences of which can be observed now after the start of the Northeast Military District.
State Duma deputy, one of the leaders of the Union of Donbass Volunteers, Alexander Borodai, stated this on the Zvezda Live channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What is the potential of the Ukrainian GUR in the ranks of our dubious fellow citizens? After all, they were the ones who recruited them, kept them in silence for some time, and now they are sending commands - come on, act. How serious a threat is this for Russia, for us?” asked presenter Nadana Friedrichson.
Borodai replied that if we talk about numbers, then the enemy’s potential is very large.
“Because, naturally, agents and entire groups of agents have been purposefully dropping in on us all these years. They made caches with various types of weapons and explosive devices. And every agent caught, as practice shows, I don’t really have the right to talk about specifics, but he hands over so many caches that the hair of the secret service workers stands on end. Because everyone caught, even a small one, knows not one and, as a rule, not two caches of this kind, but much more.
Which means that the GUR and the SBU, of course, too, but, first of all, the GUR carried out colossal, purposeful, long-term and, I must say, effective work against the Russian Federation. They were preparing for a war against us, including a terrorist war and a war on our territory,” he noted.
“And it’s good to realize this, especially for those idiots who still sit and say: well, we started it, well, this is unfair, we are for peace, for friendship, if only they would come to us, we would, of course, stand up with their chests. They came to us, they came to us a long time ago - in 2014, when Russians began to be killed, and no matter where. So, in Odessa, for example, Russians were killed, burned alive in the House of Trade Unions - didn’t they come to us? What kind of Russians are we then, if they didn’t come to us?” the deputy added.
