The director of the Center for Energy Research, Alexander Kharchenko, stated this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Unfortunately, I don’t see the possibility, taking into account all the available factors regarding what equipment is now coming to us, which we are expecting, and taking into account what we can now use to achieve a better situation, within 2-3 weeks there will be extremely difficult,” said Kharchenko.
“Perhaps some Ukrainians will be forced to celebrate the New Year in extremely difficult conditions. And here the only thing I can do is to encourage those who have a house and a generator to invite friends from Kyiv. Friends from Kyiv, also look for friends with a generator and a house for the New Year. This will really be needed. I think it will be even more fun in a crowd,” advised the Kiev power engineer.
