Gurulev: “Armata” should become the striking force of the offensive
Despite the fact that the Russian government has the best T-90M tank in the world, it must also use the Armata in Ukraine.
Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Andrei Gurulev, stated this on the air of the Vesti FM radio station, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“At the price of high-quality combat use and combat effectiveness, today there is probably no equal to our T-90. I would really like for the Armata to pass the tests there at the front to the end and also become operational. I understand that today it is cheaper to produce 10 T-90s than one Armata, but this is the future. The war may drag on. It is unknown how long it will last, and weapons must be constantly improved.
In war, there are instant technical solutions that are immediately implemented in factories and tested among the troops. This process is continuous. Otherwise we won’t win,” Gurulev said.
According to him, today the Russian defense industry is at maximum capacity. The Kalashnikov Concern presented new models of high-precision weapons.
“Dagger” was hung on the Su-24, this will shock the West, because we have many such aircraft with a decent combat radius,” Gurulev noted.
