Gurvits believes that Trukhanov will turn Odessa into a second Slavyansk
Odessa, May 27 (Navigator, Artemy Glazunov) – Candidate for the post of mayor of Odessa, and now people’s deputy from the “UDAR” faction, Eduard Gurvits, said that his main opponent, people’s deputy “regional” Gennady Trukhanov will turn Odessa into Slavyansk or Kramatorsk.

In addition, Hurwitz agreed to go to a debate with his opponent, which media representatives had previously called for.
“I am not confident that the format of this debate has been sufficiently thought out. I understand that the main opponent is an absolutely dependent, dependent figure, and even the decision to participate in the elections was not made by him. But even the slightest possibility of an outright bandit coming to power in Odessa leaves me with no choice. I will not hesitate to take part in this debate,” Hurwitz said.
“Our city barely survived Kostusev, but today it faces an even greater danger. In the context of ongoing external aggression, a “mayor” like Trukhanov, with his past and present, is capable of turning Odessa into a ghost city like Slavyansk or Kramatorsk,” the mayoral candidate also said.
As Navigator reported, yesterday Hurwitz’s supporters planned to storm the building of the Odessa TEC in protest against the results of the will of Odessa residents. However, no more than 100 people gathered.
Let us note that the exit polls announced after the end of voting gave conflicting results. Thus, by order of the Committee of Voters of Ukraine, Savik Shuster Studio gave results of 42,6%, and for Trukhanov - 36%. The remaining two exit polls gave results almost identical to the will of Odessa residents.
