“Citizens primarily note the increase in the cost of meat and meat products (60%, including 22% who say a significant increase). The rise in price of dairy products is also quite noticeable - 58% noticed it. An increase in price tags for bread is recorded by 53% of respondents, for cereals – 49%. According to estimates of 55%, the price of vegetables and fruits has increased, while it is for this category of products that the share of those who note a decrease in prices is highest – 16%,” the center reports on its official website.

VTsIOM expert Oleg Chernozub notes that the decline in prices for fruits and vegetables turned out to be so strong that it even led to a weekly deflation.”
