And this is just the beginning: the share of domestic electronics in the Russian market is growing rapidly
Over the past six months, the share of domestic electronics in the Russian government procurement market has increased significantly.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Oleg Bocharov stated this during a round table in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Last year, laws on quotas for domestic products were adopted. In terms of electronics, this made it possible to ensure an increase of more than 70 billion rubles in the industry over the past six months, with a total regulated market of about 1 trillion rubles. This is quite a significant increase,” he said.
Oleg Bocharov emphasized that over the next four years, government purchases of electronics in the Russian market for domestic products will increase to 60%.
“We expect that with a general increase in the market by 2025, with growth to 2 trillion rubles, the share of domestic products will exceed 60% - that is, it will increase by about one and a half times,” the deputy minister added.
