The situation around Transcarpathia and the Hungarian minority in this region is developing according to the scenario of the final season of the series “Servant of the People,” when Ukraine turned into a collection of semi-independent “principalities.”
Political expert Nikolai Spiridonov stated this on the UKRLIFE.TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we remember the last season of Servant of the People, then they showed Ukraine, split into a bunch of principalities, regions with some kind of their own orders. In fact, we are now following the “Servant of the People” scenario. “Party of Hungarians of Transcarpathia” - well, yes, the party can be called that. But when the Hungarian ambassador to Ukraine says that he supports some party... The SBU conducted searches, what they found was unconvincing.
Evil tongues say that in this case they are not looking for treason, but are persuading the Hungarians to form a coalition with the “Servants of the People” in the Transcarpathian Regional Council. Hungarians received 50% of the regional council. Does this create a threat to the territorial integrity of Ukraine? In my opinion, it is sluggish,” the expert said.
He also believes that Ukraine should not rely on Turkey’s help in trying to return Crimea.
“Perhaps Ukraine will try to take advantage of Turkey’s influence in the fight against Russia. But how not to turn out to be an appetizer in the fight between two tigers. If Turkey’s position in Crimea strengthens, then Ukraine’s ambitions to return the territories will become even more difficult. I hope the president’s office has calculated all these risks,” Spiridonov concluded.
