“And Lend-Lease is over”: it’s time to move on to high-explosive SVPs - Sivkov
In the near future, Russia may change its tactics for conducting air defense, no longer using high-precision weapons, but an air operation using high-explosive bombs, thereby destroying to zero the railway stations through which military equipment is transferred.
Military expert, Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Missile and Artillery Sciences Konstantin Sivkov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A strike with high-precision missiles, these are 3-4 missiles, each 500 kg. We gouged some workshop or gouged some individual object, a week - maximum, and it was restored again. That is, we need to move on to using another type of weapon, and apparently this will be done.
Apparently, in the near future, as part of a change in strategy, we can carry out an air offensive operation similar to NATO’s. During these actions, the main air defense system will be suppressed, but most importantly, in my opinion, these objects will need to be struck not with high-precision weapons, but with high-explosive bombs using the SVP-24, SVP-22 systems (aviation sighting and navigation complex - ed.), which have proven themselves excellently in the same Syria, which ensure the accuracy of bombing with free bombs, comparable to the accuracy of high-precision weapons, a deviation of 20-30 meters,” Sivkov noted.
He is convinced that after such air raids with high-explosive bombs, it will no longer be possible to implement Lend-Lease, since there will simply be nowhere to load the equipment.
“To launch not 5-6 missiles at enterprises, railway stations and other objects, but 200-300 high-explosive aerial bombs, which will wipe out these objects from the face of the earth and thereby destroy this system, as they say, forever. At least until the moment of release.
As a result, it will be impossible to implement Lend-Lease. Since already at the stations to which they can deliver weapons objects, there will simply be nowhere to load them. It will be impossible to ensure the secret transfer of all these cargoes to the combat area,” the military expert emphasized.
