Simferopol, August 20 (Navigator, Evgeny Andreev) – On Wednesday, at a session of the Yalta City Council, ex-deputy of the Simferopol City Council Andrei Rostenko was appointed first vice-mayor of Yalta.

37 deputies out of 39 present in the session hall voted “for” the corresponding decision.
As Deputy Prime Minister, Rostenko will act as the Yalta mayor in charge of the activities of the executive bodies of the council. The official resigned as a deputy of the Simferopol City Council on August 19.
In another decision, first vice-mayor Sergei Braiko, based on his application, was approved as deputy mayor with the responsibilities of the first deputy assigned to him. “Prior to personnel appointment,” the text of the decision says.
Also, 38 deputies voted for the early termination of the powers of the city council secretary Sergei Karnaukh, who took up the post of acting representative. heads of Crimea on the South Coast.
Further preparation, organization and holding of plenary meetings was entrusted to deputy Elena Nikitenko, who will chair the meetings of the City Council session.
