“And set a deadline” – in Moscow they demand that Ukraine be presented with a strict ultimatum
If Russia does not want to disgrace itself and get into a big war, it must put Ukraine in its place using the harshest methods.
Military expert Konstantin Sivkov stated this on air on the NTV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The only way out for us to prevent the increase in tension in Ukraine is extremely tough actions by Russia. First of all, actions of a demonstrative nature. It is necessary to create a powerful group of troops on the borders with the LDPR. Demonstratively, to the point of attracting a group from the Far East that could resolve the issue with Ukraine within a week or two. This is quite real.
At the same time, make an official statement that if tensions continue to increase, the Russian Federation will protect, in accordance with the Constitution, its citizens and will use all its military force to protect them.
And to back up these steps with the most stringent economic measures - to completely stop supplies of gas, electricity and everything else to Ukraine. And we suggest that Belarus do the same,” he said.
Konstantin Sivkov also emphasized that Moscow must make an ultimatum to demand liberation from Ukraine occupied Staromaryevka and all the people detained there.
"Further. Put on the international wanted list all those responsible for the arrests of these people. And give the Ukrainian leadership an ultimatum demanding the return of these people. Two to three months. Otherwise, we will begin actions to free them.
If we don’t take these tough steps, we will end up with military conflicts. Everything is as Churchill said,” the expert concluded.
