This opinion was expressed at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, by the director of the Ukrainian Institute of System Analysis and Policy Management, Ruslan Bortnik.
“I want to talk about the most terrible division of Ukraine,” the expert noted. – Remember, they painted horror stories for us - a country divided by class. The cancellation and disruption of elections in the east, as well as the exclusion of temporarily displaced persons from voting, created the feeling that the authorities do not treat some Ukrainians as equal citizens. Sorting Ukraine into different regions and different political views has become ingrained in some of the political elite. And the power itself provokes a split, which in principle may not exist.”
