Poroshenko's idea of a free trade zone with Canada will deal another blow to Ukraine
Kyiv, December 22 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The administration of Petro Poroshenko announced the creation of a free trade zone with Canada by the end of 2015. However, experts doubt the advisability of such a step.

“For the curious: over 9 months of 2014, Ukraine sold $60 million worth of goods to Canada, and bought $120 million worth of goods from Canada. The share of Ukraine’s exports to Canada is 0,012% of Ukraine’s total exports,” commented economist Alexander Okhrimenko.
Let us recall that earlier economists also warned about the unprofitability of a free trade zone with the European Union for Ukraine.
