Idiots: Boyko ran for president under a fascist slogan
Former Minister of Energy, ex-“regional” Yuriy Boyko, on Friday filed documents to register as a candidate for the presidency of Ukraine.
The press service of the Opposition Platform For Life, from which Boyko is running, managed to post on the official website a photograph of the politician near the Central Election Commission building with the slogan “Glory to Ukraine - Glory to the Heroes” posted in the background - historical cry of Ukrainian fascists.
The “puncture” of Boyko’s would-be PR people is deeply symbolic – the “Opposition Bloc” faction in the Verkhovna Rada, until recently headed by the politician, as is known, did not take any active steps to disrupt the nationalists’ vote to abolish the term “Great Patriotic War” in the legislation.
Earlier, Boyko was repeatedly accused of playing the role of a “technical” candidate for Petro Poroshenko, portraying a “threat of revenge against the Party of Regions,” which the current president is supposedly fighting. Poroshenko-controlled TV channels have regularly provided airtime for Boyko for months.
