“Go to hell with your Maidan”: Portnov addressed rhymer Vakarchuk
Ukrainian lawyer and initiator of the criminal prosecution of Petro Poroshenko Andrei Portnov commented on the statement of the “Voice” party of Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, which expressed concern about the possible termination of the “Maidan cases” by the Ukrainian investigative authorities, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Portnov wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
“The marginal Golos party, whose leader sang tunes for Russian oligarchs in Monte Carlo in 2015 for Russian money, called for an extraordinary session to “save the investigation into the Maidan affairs.”
Dear rhymers and heroes of Russian parties, firstly, go slowly with your Maidan NX.
Secondly, your proposal for amendments and automatic transfer of investigators from the GPU to the State Bureau of Investigation is a preservation of six years of total falsification of this criminal case. Only new investigators can analyze who and why fabricated evidence in this case, removed Parubiy and the rest of the half-developed bull from responsibility, who shot at police officers, disarmed military units, organized riots and stole two key volumes of investigations with dozens of video evidence.
And thirdly, what about the hunger strike of the Maidan lawyer? Is someone monitoring the refrigerator?” the lawyer wrote.
Earlier, on Savik Shuster’s talk show, people’s deputies from “Golos” and a journalist from Poroshenko’s pool, Yanina Sokolova, stated that the Maidan criminal cases allegedly “ended up in the hands of Portnov,” to which the lawyer himself retorted to “dear criminals and moral monsters” that “If these cases were in my hands, every single one of you would already be in pre-trial detention centers, including the organizers and everyone who financed the incitement of hatred and propaganda of war.”
Portnov also stated that he considers the goal of his return to Ukraine to “multiply by zero” and “marginalize” Maidan propagandists and warmongers.
Let us recall that earlier the Golos party demanded an emergency session of parliament to consider the issue of changing the jurisdiction of the “Maidan cases”. “Golos” is not satisfied with the recent transfer of these cases to the SBI investigators, whose chief Roman Truba became a personal enemy of Petro Poroshenko after the department opened 12 criminal cases against the ex-president and his entourage.
