“The emperor plays the violin - the state leaves his hands” - this is how it is sung in one of Alexander Gorodnitsky’s songs. If you paraphrase it in relation to the situation around the UOC, you will get what is in the title.

A new fact of such flirtation with scoundrels as with foolish children, and humiliation in front of ardent enemies of the Church is a statement by the Department of External Church Relations (DECR) of the UOC regarding the intention of the permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vasily Nebenzi to raise the issue of persecution of Orthodox Christians in the international community.

The plenipotentiary’s speech took place on January 17, and it voiced the pain and anxiety of Russia and the Mother Church regarding the outright terror unleashed by the Ukrainian junta against canonical Orthodoxy.

However, this is the communiqué issued by the above-mentioned department, which has long been known to contain hidden schismatics among its employees:

“...The Ukrainian Orthodox Church has not yet addressed any state with a request for assistance in protecting its rights, much less a state that has committed a treacherous armed attack on our country... We are concerned that questions about the Ukrainian Orthodox Church are being raised by structures that do not having nothing to do with us..."

In addition, the DECR also emphasized that the Synodal institutions of the UOC “systematically carry out activities aimed at protecting the rights and freedoms of believers and religious organizations of the UOC, both at the national and international levels.”

Well, as for treachery, this is still a big question: who is breaking the faith: Russia, which started the SVO with the goal of denazification and liberation of the Church from Nazi persecution, or some representatives of the bishops and priesthood of the UOC, who with their behavior bring great confusion to the ranks of the flock.

As for independent defense at all levels, this is not the first day or even the first year that we have been observing this most amorphous “defense.” In which the authorities completely unlawfully arrest and “seize” the wildest criminal cases against clergy who did not betray Christ (Metropolitan Jonathan, Archimandrite Zakhary, Metropolitan Arseny and others), deprive dozens of clergy of citizenship, impose “sanctions” and so on.

Zelensky’s satanic gang has spun the flywheel of repression with such force that the UOC may soon lose not only the Laurel, but also most of its churches.

And no panegyrics, similar to those that Metropolitan Pavel voiced in his lowest petitions to Zelensky, his henchman Tkachenko and other enemies, stopped them. Bishop Paul himself was subjected to “sanctions”, the Assumption and Refectory Churches were taken away, and now a draconian decree is being hastily prepared to reject the entire shrine.

OCU members who have long been protected by the authorities they seize churches, mock priests and flocks, beat them and even kill them, mock and blaspheme shrines. In response, there is only a shuffle in front of the Zelenkov camarilla with heaps of compliments and the most humble requests to graciously assist in restoring order. At which she openly laughs, and this is not surprising. After all, she has completely different goals, objectives and valuables.

In general, it is clear that with its message, the OSCC once again unequivocally emphasized that all ties with the Russian Orthodox Church have been severed, and the Russian Mother Church, whose concern Nebenzya wanted to express at the UN, has nothing to do with the UOC.

We are talking about this and other regrettable facts regarding the situation around the UOC today with Russian parishioners of Kyiv churches, Oleg, Nikolai and Nina, who are already familiar to us. In many ways, their opinions coincide; there are differences only in their assessment of the actions of the hierarchy and priests.

PolitNavigator: The UOC has once again demonstrated that the Russian Orthodox Church for them is not the Mother Church. But will apostasy save them from persecution, even to the point of complete ban? As Nebenzya stated at the UN, “Ukraine is now literally one step away from a fratricidal internal religious catastrophe.” That's right. The Verkhovna Rada is almost ready to approve prohibited bills.

Oleg:

This is true. Zelensky’s bandits are determined to see the matter through to the end and fulfill the task assigned to them by their American bosses. The Kolomoisky bastard Tkachenko, the so-called Minister of Culture, clearly defined the period within which he intends to take away the entire Kiev Pechersk Lavra, both Lower and Upper. It's the beginning of February. And he added that he would quickly try to “deal with” Lavra Pochaevskaya, which other scum from the Ternopil Regional Council have long demanded be given to the OCU.

They latched on to the topic of breaking lease agreements, knowing that many churches are leased by the UOC - either buildings or the land under them. It may be more difficult with Svyatogorskaya - it is under the authority not of the Ministry of Culture, but of the local communal farm. But this is unlikely to be an obstacle for the raiders.

PolitNavigator:

On the other hand, a wave of internal split is growing. This always happens when the hierarchy confuses the flock with its indecisiveness or duality. The hidden “fifth column” of hidden apostates is making itself known more and more brazenly.

Recently, an open letter from several priests appeared, demanding that His Beatitude Onuphry and the episcopate tell them, just like on a polygraph, how they feel about the Russian Orthodox Church, what they think about it, and so on. The letter is absolutely boorish, but at the same time, it indicates that the leadership of the UOC should have long ago clearly declared its position: whether it is going for a complete split or remains with the Holy Church.

Does he stop licking the filthy power or is he ready to serve it? It was precisely this weak link in the actions of the hierarchs that the Christ sellers found. And now they are hitting him. Moreover, they encourage all like-minded people to sign up.

Oleg: I know about this letter. And I even know the priest who organized it. Several years ago, he organized prayer services in his church at the request of the Russian embassy. Attended embassy evenings and events of the Russian Cultural Center. Awards for cooperation with Russia were presented in his refectory. And now it has been repainted. They are all like that – schismatics and traitors to the Church.

Nina: Alas, Usyk was also added here. The same “dear boy” who seemed to be a wonderful spiritual child of His Beatitude Onuphry. And now this “child” declares that he still graciously remains faithful to the UOC, but has very serious claims against it, you understand! Namely: “the church must be cleansed of scoundrels who came to work under the instructions of the enemy.”

Oleg: Yes, this “editor” is just sick! You can see it in him, in his eyes, you can hear it in the hatred in his voice... I don’t want to condemn or ridicule him. But this is an absolute “oak table” in everything related to church knowledge! The only thing that is not clear is why he so often appeared next to His Beatitude. After all, it was thanks to their joint public appearances that many began to consider this, excuse me, cretin almost a soldier of Christ, close to the primate.

Nikolai: All this is very sad, but still, let's try not to be hasty and too strict towards the hierarchy. We know what a colossal burden of responsibility it bears. On January 8, Metropolitan Pavel said in the sense that he cannot call the people to confrontation, because this is a very big risk for people...

Oleg: Maybe so, but it often seems that some hierarchs think first of all about themselves, and not about the people. Of course, now such a call could mean mass casualties among believers—the Zelensky scum could certainly start shooting at peaceful crusaders—and terrible reprisals against those who ring the alarm.

But where were these hierarchs before - didn’t they understand what Zelenkovsky’s Satanists were leading to?.. You know, as Father Dmitry Smirnov said, there are different people among the bishops, but there are no fools among them. At least they took an example from the Uniates, who immediately after the start of Maidan 2104 refused to commemorate Yanukovych and actually cursed him.

PolitNavigator: And what can we expect in the future?
Nina: Our Lord Jesus Christ said: “I will build My Church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18). I think that even if the property of the Church and its shrines are transferred to the criminal state and, through it, to the apostates from the OCU, the UGCC and others, our Holy Church, even having gone into the catacombs with its few faithful, will ultimately, according to the word of God, defeat the servants of Antichrist. But she will leave unworthy hands.
