“The worst thing that can happen is actually the typical American approach. As soon as one of the sides begins to win, America, just as it has done many times, will begin to help the opposition and ISIS.
Today it is known that ISIS is seeking contacts with Ukraine through Turkey. We need air defense systems. Attempts are being made through London and Turkey to probe the Ukrainians about the possibilities of acquiring air defense systems.
Considering the state of our relations with Ukraine and the quite possible mediating role of the United States, one should not be surprised if in 3-4 months the militants receive air defense systems from nowhere,” Shurygin said.
