The terrorist organization ISIS recruits migrant workers via the Internet in Russia and other CIS countries. This was stated today at a press conference in Moscow by the head of the Anti-Terrorism Center of the CIS Member States, Police Colonel General Andrei Novikov.

According to him, 90% of the Internet resources through which recruitment is carried out are located outside the CIS countries.
“An open information war is being waged against Russia and partner states. The radicalization of our citizens is largely a direct result of external influence. Experts note the phenomenon of self-recruitment, when the ideological views of users of the global network are sharply radicalized under the influence of disseminated propaganda. As a result, they are actively looking for contacts with representatives of terrorist structures,” Novikov said.
