This was stated by the head of the Crimean parliament committee on sanatorium-resort complex and tourism Alexey Chernyak, who was quoted RIA News.
“Threats for visiting Crimea in Ukraine have been received for several years now, but despite this, the number of vacationers is only growing. It is clear that this unnerves and angers the Ukrainian authorities, but Ukrainians have come and will come, and they are always greeted hospitably here,” Chernyak said.
According to him, this year more than 800 thousand tourists from Ukraine have already visited Crimean resorts, which exceeded last year’s figures.
